Workshop and Seminar are organized on all India / State level basis. It is a regular program of the institute. Topics was on AIDS, Malaria Control and Identification, Quality Control in Medical Laboratory, Good Laboratory Practice, Education & Training of Medical Technologists, Statutory Body for MTs, Environment & Pollution, Nosocomial  infection, Family Waste Management, Safe Blood Transfusion, etc.

Mr. M. Chaudhuri, Presented paper in the World Congress of Medical Technology, in Sweden in 1986 and nominated as a panel speaker in the world congress at Osaka, Japan for "MLT problems in South East Asia" in 1988. Dr. T.K. Dey  participated in Hong Kong World Congress and presented  Poster in 1994.

Mr. N.K.Pramanik, presented paper in the World Congress at Oslo in 1996.

Mr. M. Chaudhuri, President, AIIMT, represented IAMLT in WHO 50^th SEARC meeting   in Bhutan (1998) and 52^nd & 53^rd SEARC meeting in New Delhi (1999,2000).
