Meet The President

 
The All India Institute of Medical Technologists (AIIMT) is a nationwide organisation working for the overall development of Medical Laboratory Science in India.                                                                                                                                      
With recent developments in Medical Science, particularly in the area of Diagnostic Medicare, revolutionary changes are going on. To keep pace with this progress, we need to update the laboratory technologists. In this regard AIIMT has introduced different challenge examinations and training programmes for Medical Technologists in basic level and above. As well as organize Associate membership examination and also award Fellow Membership. The curriculum has been developed considering the standard of Institute of Biomedical Sciences, London and other universities of USA.


 

We need:

  • Higher Education
  • Statutory Body
  • Career Structure
  • Financial and Social status
  • Quality Control & Working environment
  • Good Laboratory Practices.

In this connection we are getting very good support from International Federation of Biomedical Laboratory Sciences  and WHO.
To achieve the goal, we need to be united under AIIMT a strong professional Organization.  It is a call from the President’s Desk that all Medical laboratory Scientists in India should be united to uplift their profession and quality of the services to society. 

AIIMT is the recepient of IAMLT 2002 Nordic Award.
